The purpose of Pathway Christian Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the Eight Recovery Principles based on the Beatitudes in the Bible and the Christ-centered 12 Steps. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving the problems in our lives. By working and applying Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving and the only true Higher Power: Jesus Christ.
Come to our Friday Evening Program
6:00PM - Dinner. Join us downstairs for a delicious meal. Good food, great price ($3.00), awesome fellowship!
7:00PM - Large Group Session. Everyone meets together for a time of rockin’ music, teaching or a testimony, presentation of chips for sobriety, and the Serenity Prayer.
8:00PM - Small Group meetings. These gender-specific small groups are the time to share and hear from others with similar hurts, hang-ups and habits.
8:00PM - Newcomers 101. If you are a first-time visitor, this is the place for you to start. This one-time session will give you the opportunity to learn more about Celebrate Recovery at Pathway, find out how to get connected, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
9:00PM - Holy Grounds Cafe. This is a great time to connect with others or just unwind and relax in good fellowship. Dessert is always served!
12 Step Small Groups
If you are serious about taking the next step in your recovery, join one of our 12 Step groups. Gender-specific groups meet for about one year and work through four booklets focused on a detailed look at your life. Call the church office to find out when the next group is available for you.
