Women today are looking for fresh and fun ways to connect with other women and with Jesus.  Pathway's Women's Ministry centers on bringing women together in casual, fun settings so that they can meet new friends or renew old friendships. Here are some of the ministries our women are a part of:
 
Girlfriends
 
Small groups of women with similar hobbies meet together once per month for a gathering. Some of the groups we have are:

    *   Flicker Chicks have dinner together, then go see a movie.
    *   Hiker Chicks go on a walk or hike together.
    *   Crafty Cut-Ups do a handcrafted project.
    *   Gamin' Gals meet for a game nights or bowling or something fun!
    *   Cuisine Queens cook together as they learn new dishes or economic ways to feed the family. They also provide meals or treats for special activities.
    *    Lit 'n Lattes read a book then come together to discuss it.

We are very open to forming new Girlfriend Groups, so if you have an idea for one, just let us know.
 

Annual Ladies Retreat

One of our Women's Ministry's premier events of the year is the Ladies Retreat. We find a wonderful location within one to two hours drive from Pathway and get away for a fantastic weekend. In 2011, we will be going to Aldersgate in Pacific Palisades on October 7-8-9. Cost is $210 per person and space is limited. The theme this year is "Indulgence. Come taste and see that the Lord is good!"
 
Other Events

 Besides the Girlfriends Groups, we have other activities for women (and sometimes we even invite the men to participate!) Like a Car Rally on Saturday, April 16, an Ice Cream Social on July 30, a Chowdown (cook-off) on Saturday, November 5, and our Christmas Party on Saturday, December 3.
